What this site is
Austin Coffee describes the city's cafe culture — the kind of coffee Austin drinks, where it drinks it, and why the cafe matters as much as the cup. We write about neighborhoods and their rooms, the local roasting scene, brewing and tasting, and the everyday habit of meeting, working and lingering over coffee. It's editorial and original: our own observations, in our own words.
What it isn't
This is not a scoreboard. We don't rank cafes, hand out awards, or reproduce anyone else's “top” lists. When we name a roaster or a neighborhood spot, it's to describe the scene as a matter of fact — not to crown a winner. Coffee is personal, the city is big, and the best room is the one that fits your morning. We point you at the culture and let you find your own.
How we cover it
Every page is built to be useful and uncluttered — no pop-ups, no paywalls, no autoplay. The news desk tracks openings, roaster news and the way the scene shifts over time. The sources and resources pages point to local roasters, Austin food media and the wider specialty-coffee world so you can go deeper on your own.
Who publishes it
